Health o meter® Professional Scales has been awarded a group purchasing agreement for Patient Scales with Premier Inc. Effective October 1, 2017, the new agreement allows Premier members, at their discretion, to take advantage of special pricing and terms pre-negotiated by Premier for patient scales.
Health o meter® Professional Scales National Accounts Director Kurt Rosinski stated, “We are very pleased to be awarded another supplier agreement with Premier and continue our long-standing partnership. We are looking forward to continuing with and extending our successful programs with the Premier members.”
The new agreement expands the pricing structure to four tiers providing automatic access to Tier 1 for all Premier members. Pricing Tiers 2-4 require manufacturer approval with an LOC/LVC and are awarded with specific sales volume and compliance commitment from the customer. Adding tiers to the new contract provides the opportunity for Premier members to establish local vendor contracts that help standardize, maximize contract compliance, and ultimately lower their spend.
